Having been in business for over 70 years, Swanson Transport, along with Lupton Carriers have built up a large client base, with an extensive range of services operating around Auckland. Across both Swanson Transport and Lupton Carriers we employ 80 staff. This includes Hiab services, General Freight, and warehouse teams. Swanson Transport and Lupton Carriers continue to work hard together to provide the best standard of services for our customers.

Operating throughout Auckland, with our two depots in West Auckland, it’s not hard to spot our trucks with bright orange curtains . Our general freight team service a range of customers, such as:

  • Business to business palletised freight

  • Contracted trucks

  • Site deliveries, serviced with our tail lift trucks

Web bookings: a faster way for customers to book

Last year we launched our new website. Since then our customers have been able to easily browse our fleet, see all the specs and book the right truck on the spot. Client login gives access to POD’s (Proof of delivery) right through to the accounts, giving our customers access when they need it.Whether it’s a Swanson Transport general freight customer or a Lupton Carriers customer, all of these web bookings are taken care of on a centralized dispatch screen overseen by our General Freight Dispatcher.

This centralized system gives our Dispatchers  and support staff the ability to quickly and efficiently respond to customer needs so we can dispatch the right truck for the job.
