Teaming Up With Fair Foods

We recently teamed up with Fair Foods, a West Auckland based food rescue charity, to save long life/non-perishable food items following a fire in a Henderson supermarket.

The damage caused by the fire resulted in Fair Foods needing a warehouse to store the food before they could then redirect it to those in need. One of our customers, West Auckland Trust Services referred Fair Foods to us - and we were able to assist with short term storage.

Our team worked over a weekend handling over 300 pallets of product to meet the strict deadline needed for repairs to begin on the damaged sections of the supermarket on the Monday. 

Once in storage the insurance assessors carried out quality control and through Fair Foods a significant amount of the food was donated to those in need.
