The Biggest Palfinger Crane in Auckland

Swanson Transport is proud to be the first operator in Auckland to bring in from Europe this amazing piece of machinery which arrives next month.

The Scania cab and chassis was shipped direct to Austria from Sweden, where Palfinger manufactured and mounted the massive PK 200002L SH crane in their specialised Mounting Factory.

This Knuckle boom crane will provide our customers with the versatility of a Truck mounted crane (Hiab) and the reach capabilities of a large mobile crane.

Along with the impressive capacity of this truck it has also come with an array of attachments such as a Winch, Elevated Workman Platform (EWP) and Instillation Tip to name a few.

This unit is not a standard truck, it has a special Mobile Crane chassis that Scania specifically built to be able to handle the 43 tonne tare weight. As a mobile crane, we have to follow the heavy haulage routes and our operators driving this unit are BESS certified.
